Directions to the summit
1. After enjoying the views from the lookout, start onto the Mt Kembla Summit Track.
2. Take the left fork and start heading steeply uphill. The track is narrow but well worn and easy to follow.
3. After you climb a steel ladder, there is a lookout to your right. The plateau at the top of the mountain has interesting vegetation that is very pretty.
4. The trig point is toward the north end of the summit plateau. Follow the path around to the east to find some great views of the coastal plain.
